CONSTABLE GALLERY AT LARGE

After 10 years of curating large-scale exhibitions in Cambodia it was a natural progression for Sasha to establish a gallery in Siem Reap.  CONSTABLE Gallery at Large opened in May 2016 and showcased both upcoming and established Cambodian and international artists. The gallery was open for a very busy year during which more than 25 artists displayed a wide variety of styles and mediums.

On the 23rd October 2016 RESILIENCE opened at CONSTABLE Gallery at Large. A poignant exhibition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accords signed in 1991. Australian Ambassador Angela Corcoran gave opening remarks along with veteran photographer Tim Page, the director’s of the Centre for Peace and Conflict studies Emma Leslie and Soth Plai Ngarm and peace advocate Tun Channareth.

CONSTABLE Gallery at Large closed its doors in March 2017. During the year it was open Sasha had realized that she did not want to be solely a gallerist and was itching to get back to creating new artwork herself, however, it was another invaluable experience in a different area of the art sector.
